I stumbled upon this photograph of my youngest son, Finn, taken when he was just a few months old and my #1 companion as I worked to fill my Etsy shop. He was always right there wanting to be part of all the sewing action.
Part of being a work-at-home-mom is including the kids in whatever it is I'm working on. They're so curious, as it is, and I like for them to see me doing something that I love to do because maybe it'll encourage them to pursue their passions as well. But the roles have changed as they've gotten older. Itty bitty Finn is no longer just a bystander but a hands-on helper, especially when it's time to deliver all the boxes to the Post Office.
