I want to say that they are definitely yours. But I have to say, as someone who is not in favor of genetically modified food but is definitely in love with pretty-looking food- those bumpy lemons leave me feeling a bit unsettled. Maybe you can convince your neighbor to get on a regular fertilizer regimine? Prune more frequently? Switch out their lemon tree? I'm not exactly sure what would be best...but I'd be a lot happier if she could iron that whole thing out.
Yes technically any fruit hanging above a public space is allowed to be taken by the public; therefore if you have fruit hanging above your yard, it's yours.. Enjoy!
